A beautiful chorale inspired by the upcoming birth of my son.
Reflection No. 2
Dedicated in memoriam to Char Zyskowski, beloved former wife of my undergraduate percussion professor, Marty Zyskowski. The melody is based upon Char's name: C naturals, B naturals (after the German indication H), A naturals, and R for retrograde.
Reflection No. 3
Dedicated to my daughter, this work not only represents the innocence and simply beauty of childhood but also recalls the visual imagery of drops of water falling on a placid body of water.
